RW App Ventures LLC

Pausely Privacy Policy

Effective 29 August 2026

The short version

  • Everything you log in Pausely stays on your phone. We never upload it.
  • There is no Pausely account, so there is nowhere for your entries to be sent.
  • Nobody at Pausely can read, sell, or recover what you log.
  • Subscribing is the one thing that leaves your phone — and it carries no health information.
  • We show no ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who we are

Pausely is made by RW App Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy covers the Pausely iPhone app and nothing else. Questions go to privacy@rwappventures.com.

Your health data stays on this phone

Everything you log — your symptoms, how severe they were, your notes, your cycle days and your treatments — is stored only on your device, in a database that belongs to the app. Pausely never uploads it.

We cannot see, sell or recover what you log

There is no Pausely account and no Pausely login, so there is nowhere for your entries to be sent. Nobody at RW App Ventures can read them.

That cuts both ways: if you delete the app, or use Delete all data in Settings, your entries are gone for good and we cannot bring them back. Export a copy first if you want to keep one.

Subscribing is the one thing that leaves your phone

If you subscribe to Pausely Plus, Apple handles the payment. A service called RevenueCat then tells the app whether your subscription is active.

What RevenueCat receives is limited to the subscription itself: that a subscription was started, renewed, or cancelled, and which product it was, together with a random identifier generated on your device. That identifier is not connected to your name, your email address, or your Apple Account. We do not attach your name, email, or any other personal detail to it.

Neither Apple nor RevenueCat ever receives anything you log in Pausely.

We use this purchase information for two things: to unlock the features you paid for, and to see in aggregate how many subscriptions are active — the ordinary business question of whether the app is sustainable. It is not used for advertising, and it is not combined with data from other companies.

Their own policies apply to their handling of that data: Apple Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Reminders never leave your phone

If you turn on a daily reminder, it is scheduled by your own phone. Nothing is sent from a server anywhere to trigger it, and no push token is created.

You choose what else leaves your phone

Your Appointment Summary PDF and your CSV export are created on your device and go only where you send them, using your phone's own share sheet. We never see them, and we are not involved in where they go.

Backups

If your phone backs itself up to iCloud, your Pausely data may be included in that backup, under your own Apple Account and your own control. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it.

What Pausely does not do

RevenueCat's software is the only network connection the app makes.

Children

Pausely is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices and your rights

Because your health entries never leave your device, you already hold the only copy. You control it directly in the app:

The only record we can reach is the subscription record described above. If you are in a region with rights of access, correction, deletion, or portability — such as the EU, the UK, or California — and you want to exercise them over that record, write to privacy@rwappventures.com and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Data retention

Your logged entries stay on your device until you delete them; we hold none of them, so there is nothing on our side to retain. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to run and account for the subscription.

Changes to this policy

If Pausely ever changes what leaves your phone, this page and the privacy screen inside the app are updated together, and the effective date above changes. Material changes will be noted here.
